Actually Sony said themselves that they are working hard to break even on the ps3 by the middle of 2009. It would be wise for Sony to make a profit on the ps3 after they finally break even. They already lost the market share dominance of last gen and they're not going to get it back. They should concentrate on profiting now.

The Xbox 360 is a much bigger success than the original Xbox. The 360 is a cash cow. They'll be definitely milking it for awhile.
I think Sony should concentrate on making money and not winning some console war that only juvenile fanboys care about. Sony doesn't need to catch up to Microsoft and I'm sure they don't even care about it. Sony definitely cannot afford a price cut so I don't expect one for awhile. Being third place in the console battle isn't the end of the world.

Killzone 2 is a breath of fresh air? I guess you have never played a war fps before it since it's exactly the same as everything else. KZ2 has nothing original and no personality.
Actually the only people that called Killzone 2 a "Halo Killer" was the nutty sony fanboys. And of course, they end up looking like fools because it wasn't nowhere near as good as Halo.
